Lincoln Electric to present ‘Car Fix’ co-host Lou Santiago and unveil an all-new product at Motorama

Ask any car builder to name the most indispensable piece of equipment they have in their workshop, and undoubtedly, the answer will be their welder.

Whether you’re a shade tree mechanic, a serious hobbyist, a member of a professional NASCAR, IndyCar or NHRA fabrication team, or a well-recognized and highly respected fabricator and auto restorer such as Lou Santiago, a Lincoln Welder should be your only choice.

Again this year, Lincoln Electric will showcase its extensive product line and exhibit the latest in welding technology to the automotive and racing enthusiast at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by Mothers.

The fourth annual Motorama show runs from March 9, 10 & 11, 2018 in Toronto’s International Centre, located adjacent to Pearson International Airport.

With live product demonstrations by Lincoln Electric’s knowledgeable staff, and guest appearances by Santiago, the host of Discovery Velocity’s The Car Fix, the Lincoln booth is a must-see for Motorama show visitors.

“The Motorama show is an ideal location for us to reach our target demographic,” explained Scott Stanley of Lincoln Electric’s Toronto division. “Serious hobbyists and professional fabricators flock to the Motorama show, and those are the people who will be interested in what we have to offer.”

In their 1200 square foot Motorama display, Lincoln Electric will be offering show visitors ‘Show-Only Specials’ on various welding accessories, and will be showcasing their product line-up from their instantly recognizable and recently updated ‘Demo Truck.’

New York City resident and former US Navy SeaBee Lou Santiago will be bringing one of his original projects along for visitors to check out and is also planning to be “welding up a storm all three days of Motorama.”

Stanley explained that while the Lincoln Electric technicians will be demonstrating such existing items as plasma cutters and wire-feed welders, they will be paying extra attention to offering information about a new, to-be-unveiled-at-Motorama, 120V multi-process inverter.

The Mig Pak 140MP – which will be available later this year at Canadian Tire stores – is the latest portable, lightweight (15.6 kg) multi-process welder manufactured by Lincoln Electric. It is an ideal choice for MIG, DC-TIG, Stick, Spool Gun or Flux-Cored welding.

Lincoln Electric staff will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate products such as the new Mig Pak 140MP on all three days of the show. Lou Santiago will be making appearances at the Lincoln Electric throughout Motorama, as well.

Recently celebrating 100 years in Canada, Lincoln Electric continues its steady pace of industry-leading new product introductions, welding solutions and accessories to the market, all in an effort to help the company’s end-user customers become more productive and successful.
