Canada Heads Up will be back at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors in a big way. The popular Ontario-based drag racing series is returning, once again, with a large footprint featuring a wide range of vehicles, in the Inside Track Racing Zone presented by Stoneridge Specialty Insurance.

Located in the northeast corner of Hall 1B, representatives from the series will be on-hand to talk about the 2023 Canada Heads Up season, which will feature five race weekends, beginning June 2, 3 and 4. All of the series’ events will take place at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, ON. There will be 14 classes of street-type cars and bikes in action, with qualifying on Saturdays and racing on Sundays.

On Saturday, March 11 (2023) Canadian racers who won season-long track or series road racing, drag racing and short track championships, in 2022, will be honoured during the Fast Eddie Speedwear Night of Champions. The annual event takes place on the Main Stage at the Toronto Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors.

With more than 150 champions representing the entire spectrum of Canadian racing expected to participate, the Fast Eddie Night of Champions is unique in the world of motorsports. One of the most popular features of the Toronto Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo Presented by eBay Motors is the Fast Eddie Night of Champions.

Prior to the pandemic, upwards of 125 short track and drag racers who won season-long points championships – the summer before at their local track or in the touring series they participated in – were on hand to be honoured during the Night of Champions.

On Saturday, April 30, the Fast Eddie Night of Champions is returning to Motorama. Eligible champions from the 2020 and 2021 seasons can sign up to be celebrated on the Motorama Stage, in Hall 2. New for this year’s Night of Champions – and for the first time in the history of the event – Canadian road racing champions will also be included in the ceremonies.

One of the things we missed most during the truncated 2020 edition of the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo was the cancellation of the on-stage presentations for the Fast Eddie Short Track and Drag Racing Night of Champions. They were scheduled to take place on the night of Saturday, March 14 on The Pinty’s Stage, in Hall 2.

Fortunately, many of the champions who pre-registered to participate in the presentations were able to stop by the show office on Saturday and pick up their plaques and shirts, which were produced and provided by Fast Eddie Racewear.
