Bad Chad first came to international prominence on his TV show, ‘Bad Chad Customs,’ which was filmed at the Hiltz Auto Co. shop, in his hometown, Canning, Nova Scotia. In recent years, he and Jolene have endeared themselves to their fans via their almost daily broadcasts on their ‘Bad Chad Show’ YouTube channel.

Bad Chad and Jolene will be at Motorama all three days, taking part in the Roof Chop (presented by Lincoln Electric), signing autographs, and taking pictures. They’ll also be participating in on-stage discussion panels and awards presentations.

As well, Chad and Jolene plan to have T-shirts and collectibles available, at their booth, adjacent to the roof chop vehicle.

Discussing their return to Motorama, Bad Chad said, “We had such a great time at last year’s Toronto Motorama show that we jumped at the opportunity to come back again. As luck would have it, we’re going to be in Australia for a few weeks before Motorama and the timing worked out perfectly for us to come back again, on the way back. And being able to mix it up a bit by participating in a roof chop will make it even more fun. We hope everyone comes out and has a good time. We’ll see you at Motorama.”

Through the Bad Chad Customs TV show and YouTube broadcasts, fans have come to appreciate Hiltz’s imagination and creations. The Chadillac (’57 Cadillac), Bubbletop Gasser (’85 Ford LTD station wagon), Green Goblin (’62 Chrysler), The Canning Kid (’34 Ford), Cruella De Vil (’39 Chevy) and many other vehicles that have come out of the Hiltz Auto Co. shop. In recent months, Chad and Jolene have worked on a ’59 Jaguar Mk 9 and ’48 Pontiac sedan.

Motorama’s Brandon Roberts – the organizer of the popular Motorama Mayhem room – said, “Bad Chad and Jolene made their first-ever Ontario appearance at our most recent show. They were amazing guests and it’ll be great to have them back again for all three days of the 2023 show. Everyone loved meeting them, and we’re excited that they’ll also be participating in a roof chop, in addition to the many other things they’ll be doing at Motorama.”
