A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who was part of and/or came to the 2022 edition of the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Canada!

It was a fantastic weekend and it was great having everyone back.

Over the next few days and weeks, we’ll be posting galleries, videos and award-winner lists, so watch for those.

In the meantime, congratulations to Jim & Sue Carnegie for having their 1949 Chevy Pick-Up selected as the Motorama Grand Champion.

Built by Hot Nights Hot Rods, the truck features an LS-3 Corvette engine with a 4L65E Transmission.

LINCOLN ELECTRIC CANADIAN 10 FINALISTS IDENTIFIED AT THE TORONTO MOTORAMA SHOW

TORONTO, ON // APRIL 30, 2022 • Judged to be the best of the over 400 eligible vehicles on display at this year’s Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo Presented by eBay Motors, ten amazing vehicles have been identified as the Lincoln Electric Canadian 10 finalists.

And on Sunday afternoon during the Special Awards presentations at 3 p.m., one of them will be named the 2022 Motorama Grand Champion and receive the $5,000 winner’s cheque.

The Motorama show takes place all weekend at The International Centre, across from Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

SPRING FEVER CELEBRATES MODIFIED CARS & CULTURE

It seems that every generation of custom car hobbyist has a different concept of what makes for a ‘Cool Ride.’ For some, it’s the bare bones, open-wheeled and roofless classic ’32 Ford Hot Rod. KICKER TO PRESENT BONESHAKER JET DRAG TRUCK AT MOTORAMA

While most of the hot rods and racing vehicles at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors are built for speed, Rick Kopp’s Jet Drag Truck dubbed Boneshaker will likely be the fastest machine in the building April 29, 30 & May 1 at the International Centre.

Although the car club cruises and exhibitions have been under lockdown for the past two years, it doesn’t mean that the builders and members have been sitting idle.

Canada Heads Up Drag Racing Series Heads to Motorama with an Eight-Vehicle Display

Ian Hill’s ‘Canada Heads Up’ (CHU) Drag Racing Series is returning to Motorama with another packed, eight-vehicle display. The large Racing Zone feature, in the northeast corner of Hall 1B, is part of the 7th annual Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors. The show takes place April 29, 30 and May 1 at Toronto’s International Centre.

According to Hill, each vehicle at the show will be appearing in the five Canada Heads Up – Shootout Series events this year, on the dragstrip at Toronto Motorsports Park – Cayuga.
