Chip Foose will not be at Motorama this weekend

We just received notification, through the party that helped us secure the agreement with Chip Foose to appear at Motorama, informing us that he will not be coming to the Toronto Motorama show this weekend.

It read, “due to the major health crisis over the virus and the decision of the President of the United States to shut down travel in and out of the US from other countries, Chip regrets he will need to cancel going to the show.”

We have not had direct contact with Chip Foose today, but we believe this decision to be final.

The show’s organizers wanted to make this information public as soon as possible.

Like you, we are disappointed yet mindful of the global health situation that is restricting travel between countries. We hope to have Chip Foose come to Motorama at a future date.

At this time, all of our other celebrity guests (Constance Nunes, JF Launier, Grant Schwartz, Ron Gibbs and Cherry Dollface) are still coming and we’re about three-quarters of the way through move-in. The cars are incredible and the exhibitors are setting up.

We have no further information at this time, other than to say we continue to follow the advice and recommendations of the top health officials (federal, provincial and municipal), who recently reiterated that people should safely go about their lives, taking every possible precaution.

Motorama opens at 10 a.m. on Friday morning at The International Centre.
