Hagerty is increasing its role at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors in a big way. While returning to support the Class and Special Awards for the third straight year, the classic and collector insurance provider will also now sponsor the main stage – now known as The Hagerty Stage – for the first time.
The Hagerty Stage, in Hall 2, will be a beehive of activity all weekend long, with celebrity Q&A sessions, guest speakers, product giveaways and award presentations, including the Night of Champions and the Hagerty Class and Special Awards.
“Every March, we look forward to spending time and connecting with local enthusiasts and car owners at Motorama to kick off the car show season,” said Hagerty event coordinator David Murphy. “We decided to increase our presence at Motorama to elevate our support in the local automotive community and to help share our vision; a world where loved cars are driven, shared and enjoyed.”
Hundreds of unique vehicles fill the show floor each year at Motorama. Many of these vehicles compete for a variety of recognitions, from era-specific categories to celebrity picks to the Motorama Grand Champion trophy, known as the Challice Cup, presented to the vehicle judged as being the best of the best.
The Class Awards will take place on Saturday, March 14, while the Special Awards will be handed out on Sunday, March 15, both on the Hagerty Stage.
“Each year, Hagerty is astonished by the large variety of vehicles that compete for the honour of winning a Class or Special Award at Toronto Motorama,” said Murphy. “The passion and time that enthusiasts put into their vehicles, either in restoration or personalization, is something we understand and respect.”
In addition to their prominent sponsorships, Hagerty will have a busy booth in Hall 1A. The company will have a red 1967 Beaumont convertible on display, alongside some great interactive features. The Hagerty Valuation Tool will provide showgoers with insight as to what their classic vehicle may be worth, or even provide them with values on that dream classic ride that they’re hoping to acquire. There will also be on-site quoting for collector vehicle coverage.
Visitors can enter Hagerty’s Toronto Motorama Sweepstakes at their booth for a chance to win an Ultimate Exotics three-hour driving experience. Representatives from Hagerty will be on hand throughout the show and are looking forward to sharing their love of the automobile alongside members of the local car community.
