NEW HAMBURG, ON – Marking its 45th anniversary, Moparfest returned to the New Hamburg Fairgrounds on August 15 and 16, drawing thousands of enthusiasts for what is recognized as Canada’s largest all-Mopar car show. More than 1,500 Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep and AMC vehicles filled the grounds, showcasing everything from immaculate factory restorations to heavily modified muscle machines.

Throughout the weekend, spectators wandered rows of classic and modern Mopars, talking with owners and admiring decades of automotive history. The event featured a wide variety of attractions beyond the show field, including a sold-out non-automotive flea market with 50 vendors, live entertainment, food trucks and a pair of beer gardens that kept visitors refreshed during the summer event.
One of the biggest crowd-pleasers was the Saturday night burnout contest, presented by Wellington Motors, where smoke, noise and horsepower combined to entertain fans long after the main show had ended. Charity-minded attendees also took part in the popular Engine Blow events, with proceeds supporting Hobo Haven Animal Rescue. The vehicles used for the challenge were donated by Logel’s Auto Parts.
After 45 years, Moparfest continues to be a must-attend celebration for Mopar enthusiasts, bringing together rare vehicles, dedicated owners and automotive passion from across Canada and beyond.
