The 2026 edition of the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors wrapped up Sunday afternoon at Toronto’s International Centre. The last official order of business was crowing the Motorama Grand Champion, handing out the $7,500 winner’s cheque, the on-stage photo session, and the presentation of The Challice Cup.
It all took place on The Hagerty Stage during the Hagerty Special Awards, in Hall 2, in front of a packed seating area of car owners and auto enthusiasts.
This year’s Motorama Grand Champion car is a 1986 Ford Mustang called ‘Foxilla’ that was built by Jesse Henke of J.H. Restorations in Old Castle, Ontario. The car is owned by Scott Young of Charing Cross, Ontario.
Powered by a 7.3 litre Ford dubbed ‘Godzilla,’ the car sports a 10R80 10-speed transmission and features Ridetech Independent Rear Suspension, Forgeline CV3C concave wheels, custom leather interior, metal flares and a front bumper and lip kit.
In the words of the Motorama judging team:
“This year was a challenging process for us to select the Motorama Grand Champion. The quality of the cars in competition was outstanding. With so many ‘top shelf’ builds at the show, it was a major achievement to be included in the group of 10 cars that made up the Valvoline Canadian 10 contenders. Congratulations to all of them.
The fine details made the difference, when it came down to identifying the Grand Champion.
The ’86 Mustang featured details that put his car above the rest. If you’ve seen their cars at previous shows, you know this is a trademark of JH Customs builds. Incredible body mods – many of them subtle – were all flawlessly executed.
From paint, to engineering, to trim… this car had all the qualities required to earn the honour of being named the 2026 Motorama Grand Champion.”
