The NASCAR Canada Series (NCaS) returns to the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors, with driver appearances, special announcements and schedule promotion taking place at their booth.
The country’s top level of stock car racing will greet fans in the Gulf Race Fuels Racing Zone presented by Stoneridge Specialty Insurance, in Hall 1B. The NCaS booth will feature a car from the Ed Hakonson Racing stable, along with information displays and series drivers stopping by throughout the weekend.
Series representatives will be on-hand to talk about the schedule and what’s new for 2025. The 12-race calendar includes the NCaS debut at Calabogie Motorsports Park, a road course in Eastern Ontario, and the return of Sunset Speedway. There will be races across the country, from Wetaskiwin, AB to Antigonish, NS, including five events in Ontario.
“Sunset is always an entertaining short track. And for Calabogie, people are going to have the opportunity to discover that venue and discover that area, too, which is just a little bit north of Ottawa,” said NASCAR Canada general manager Alan Labrosse. “We’re bringing in those two venues in Ontario, plus there’s Delaware and CTMP.”
Labrosse says the schedule is more travel-friendly for teams this season, while being more balanced from month to month.
Another change for 2025 is the television rights, with REV TV acquiring the English-language live and delayed broadcasts, and TVA Sports becoming the French-language broadcaster. TSN will continue to air races on delay. The live broadcasts include the prestigious Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières on TVA Sports.
NASCAR has been counting down the days to Motorama, as they have special announcements lined up for the show. While details are still under wraps, showgoers are encouraged to watch for the news being released during the weekend.
Labrosse is looking forward to Motorama as a chance to interact with fellow motorsports enthusiasts in Canada’s largest market.
