Northern Performance returns to the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors for the second straight year, with the retailer bringing together a variety of product displays just inside the main show entrance, in Hall 1.
With 120 feet of vendor space, the Northern Performance section will feature product representation from K&N, Eibach, MBRP, WeatherTech, Holley, Thule, Liqui Moly, CTEK and LEED Brakes, along with their own booth. Representatives from Northern Performance and the featured brands will be on-hand to answer questions.
Making their debut at last year’s show, Northern Performance retail store manager Sean Gibbs says that the response from showgoers was overwhelming.
“We knew that it was going to be busy but the fans who came in were amazing; tons of questions, tons of interest in products, and it carried over to our business for the year,” said Gibbs. “Even though we’ve been around since 1977, it’s a different crowd for us to bring that product to. We brought it to a new audience, which made a huge difference for us.”
Northern Performance’s full catalogue of items will be available for purchase at Motorama, with a select inventory on-hand for showgoers to take home that weekend. The company has a retail location at 1164 Walkers Line, in Burlington, ON, and proudly ships Canada-wide.
In addition to the large assortment of products, Eibach’s booth will display the dirt modified that St. Catharines, ON’s Mat Williamson drove to victory in the $100k-to-win Centennial Race at Orange County Fair Speedway in 2019 (see picture below). Williamson is one of the hottest drivers in dirt racing, winning his third Super DIRTcar Series championship and second DIRTcar 358 Modified title in 2025, a season where he won both series features at Oswego Speedway’s Super DIRT week.
“We spoke with our vendors about things that would be of interest,” said Gibbs. “Mat’s been the dominant dirt modified racer the last three or four years, so we’re proud to be able to have his car in our booth for 2026.”
Originally started as a two-man operation focused on hot rods and race cars, Northern Performance has expanded well beyond its roots. While they still emphasize the performance industry, with safety equipment, filters, oils, suspension parts, and more, products such as WeatherTech allow them to serve other aspects of daily life.
The Burlington retail location also has a service centre that works on everything from oil changes to restoration projects.
“We install what we sell, so if you buy an MBRP exhaust from us, for example, we can have that installed on your vehicle directly that same day, in most cases,” said Gibbs. “We have the mechanics on site that do all the installs for all of our products, so it’s a great option.”
Gibbs says that Northern Performance is a one-stop shop, allowing them to showcase a variety of products and services that cater to a wide range of needs. The retail location is open seven days a week and products can also be ordered through their website, NorthernPerformance.ca.
