With the start of the Canadian racing season just weeks away, the motorsports community will come together at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors, where the Gulf Race Fuels Racing Zone presented by Stoneridge Specialty Insurance will get fans and industry members geared up for the 2025 campaign.
Tracks, series and businesses will fill the space in Hall 1B and nearby portions of Hall 2, where they’ll have a chance to connect with fans, promote products and share information, including schedules.
TOURING SERIES – The selection of touring series joining us in the Racing Zone will offer something for everyone, covering various disciplines and locations. The NASCAR Canada Series returns, with the top level of stock car racing in the country promoting its line-up of short track and road racing events, with 12 races from Alberta to Nova Scotia, including five here in Ontario.
CASC-OR returns to share information about their grassroots road racing weekends, as well as their ice racing and time attack events. FEL Motorsports, the sanctioning body of the Sports Car Championship Canada and Radical Cup Canada, will be on-hand to promote its new GT3 Cup class and schedule of Ontario and Quebec events.
Several Ontario short track series will join the Racing Zone, with the Great Lakes Legends Series, the new Ontario Bandolero Series, Ontario Sportsman Series, Southern Ontario Modified Association, and United Racing Series (APC Series, DAYCO Super Stocks & OSCAAR) in attendance.
Rounding out the series at Motorama are the Ontario Off-Road Racing Association, the Targa Newfoundland tarmac rally, the Waterloo Regional Kart Club and the Canada Heads Up (CHU) drag racing series. The CHU group will once again have an extensive assortment of two and four-wheel racing vehicles in its display in the Racing Zone. CHU will also host a Saturday info session for the drivers and teams, and a get together on Saturday night after the Night of Champions presentations.
SHORT TRACKS – The province’s short track scene will be well represented, with Delaware Speedway and Flamboro Speedway sharing details about the weekly programs and visiting touring series at the asphalt tracks, located southwest of Toronto. Full Throttle Motor Speedway, Sauble Speedway and Sunset Speedway will promote the oval racing featured north of the city, while Peterborough Speedway officials visit from the east, promoting a schedule highlighted by the prestigious Autumn Colours Classic on Thanksgiving weekend.
Ohsweken Speedway represents the dirt track scene and is gearing up for one of the earlier starts to the season, ahead of the return of the famous World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in mid-May.
Drag racing fans can also learn about their local options, with Bonfield Event Park, Grand Bend Motorplex, St. Thomas Dragway, Shannonville Drags and the multi-track drag strip/road course Toronto Motorsports Park all setting up booths in the Racing Zone.
Rounding out the tracks at Motorama are automotive innovation facility Oro Station Motor Circuit and karting track chain K1 Speed Canada.
BUSINESSES AND SPONSORS – Night of Champions presenting sponsor Fast Eddie Speedwear will have a large booth in Hall 2, while Racing Zone sponsors Gulf Race Fuels and Stoneridge Specialty Insurance will also be on-hand. Additional businesses in the Racing Zone include DaSilva Racing, Epic Racewear, Glenn Styres Racing, Kris Martin Racing, Mantis Racing, MS Gear, NAPA Auto Parts, Northern Performance, Surf & Turf, and Two Speed Motorsports. The Yesterday’s Speedways feature celebrating the history of Ontario stock car racing will also be part of the busy Racing Zone again in 2025.
Beyond the various booths listed above, the Racers’ Corral will feature a large assortment of race vehicles on display, while the Racing Zone stage will host driver interviews and podcasts throughout the weekend.
