RAMs of Ontario is returning as the presenting sponsor of the Truck-O-Rama feature at this year’s Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors. This year marks the third time that Truck-O-Rama has been part of Motorama, and the second with RAMs of Ontario as a show partner.
The partnership will provide RAMs of Ontario with an opportunity to interact with fellow truck enthusiasts, while providing Motorama with a showcase to spotlight a quality line-up of decked-out vehicles in Truck-O-Rama.
With over 8,000 members, and growing, RAMs of Ontario is a group of RAM truck owners who gather for family-oriented events and charity initiatives throughout the year. Established in 2021, the organization has fourteen province-wide chapters that host a series of meets and cruise events, allowing members to show off their builds and share new ideas for maintaining and improving their trucks.
The community aspect is a big part of RAMs of Ontario, according to province-wide lead Sam Fakhoury. He says that events are family-themed, sometimes including activities such as bouncy castles and face painting, and that the group has a shared interest in giving back to their hometowns through food, backpack and toy drive initiatives.
At this year’s Motorama, showgoers will get an opportunity to speak with RAMs of Ontario members, while getting a close-up look at their prized possessions.
“We’ll have a lot of group members show up to support us and support the event,” said Fakhoury, noting the variety of vehicles. “More fifth-generation Rams, fourth-generation Rams, some lowered and some lifted.”
The group will also bring in a special guest for this year’s Truck-O-Rama. Calvin Chapleau, who manages and markets builds for the SEMA Show, in Las Vegas, will have multiple vehicles on display in Truck-O-Rama.
While Fakhoury says that he’s somewhat biased – with his own trucks on display – he has to consider the Calz Kustom vehicles among his favourites that will be at the show, as he says Calvin’s builds are something to appreciate and look up to.
The RAMs of Ontario booth itself will once again feature Fakhoury’s orange Ram TRX, along with a lowered version of the fifth-generation Ram. There will also be swag and merchandise available.
Truck-O-Rama will once again be located in the southwest area of Hall 2. The show takes place March 10, 11 & 12 at The International Centre, across from Toronto’s Pearson Airport. For tickets and show info, visit MotoramaShow.com.
