Today (March 12) is setup day. The building is filling with cars and booths and the show opens Friday morning 10 a.m.
Schools are still open. The TTC is running, stores and malls are open, and people are going to work. And downtown, the National Home Show is also setting up, at the CNE.
And like all of them, we’re taking all possible precautions – in concert with the International Centre – including increasing the number of hand sanitizing stations and cleaning high-traffic surfaces.
HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 15 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Avoid close contact with people who are ill
- Stay home when you are ill
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then immediately throw the tissue in the garbage and wash your hands
- If you don’t have a tissue, sneeze or cough into your sleeve or arm
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
