Toronto Motorama Show postponed until March 2022

OCTOBER 28, 2020 – It’s been an interesting seven months since we were taking down booths and displays and putting cars on trailers on the morning of Sunday, March 15. Unfortunately, “two weeks to flatten the curve” hasn’t worked out as promised.

Given the Ontario government’s strict limitations on the number of people who can attend public gatherings at convention centres – as well as a lack of time to properly produce a show the size of Motorama even if those limits were significantly increased in the next few months – the organizers of the Toronto Motorama show have reluctantly come to the conclusion that the scheduled March 2021 edition of the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo will not take place.

“Having last year’s show so heavily impacted and cut short by the pandemic was extremely disappointing. And being forced to announce that Motorama 2021 will not take place is absolutely gutting,” said the show’s organizers. “Motorama is the continuation of a five-decade legacy of celebrating car culture and motorsports at the start of March Break, at The International Centre, with whom we have an ongoing positive relationship. Given the time and resources required to produce the show, it’s just not viable to put on Motorama if only a few dozen people are allowed in the building. All we can do is look ahead to March of the following year and work to make Motorama 2022 bigger and better than ever.”

In the meantime, please visit MotoramaShow.com and the show’s Facebook and Twitter feeds for updates. Exhibitor and vehicle registration forms, for the 2022 show, will be available next spring.

On behalf of everyone at Motorama, we hope that you, your family and friends have stayed healthy during the pandemic. And we look forward to having you be part of Motorama in March 2022.
