There’s much more than ‘just’ cars at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo presented by eBay Motors. This fact is evidenced, once again, in the fifth annual edition of the Truck-O-Rama special section of the show, which showcases a large assortment of ‘decked-out’ trucks, in Hall 2.
Presented by Rams of Ontario, the display will feature a good assortment of stock, lifted, slammed, special show trucks and daily driver trucks.
As well, Calz Kustom, from Huntsville, ON, will bring a selection of trucks and vehicles, several of which were in the spotlight at the recent SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Owner Calvin Chapleau is showing his black 1991 Dodge W250 powered by a 1,200 horsepower V12 Cummins diesel motor.
The truck matches Chapleau’s 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo, which will appear with the Dodge.
Another Calz Kustom vehicle coming to Motorama is Iggy Mazza’s white ‘marble’ 2021 Ford F350 Truck. Fully deleted and tuned, the vehicle has a 12” fully powdered long arm Stryker lift, custom king coil-overs and shocks and 38” wheels.
Another must see truck is Jagraj Grewal’s Candy Red 2020 Jeep Gladiator with its full custom front and rear suspension kit and air bags, dually axle conversion, 24” Dropstars wheels and many more goodies.
Brett Noble’s lifted SEMA-style 2002 Dodge Ram is yet another heavily modified truck that you won’t see on the street but will be part of Truck-O-Rama at the show.
And be sure to check out the beautiful 2022 Ram Mega Cab owned by Rams of Ontario’s Sam Fakhoury. It has a 12” colour-matched Stryker lift, 30” x 16” polished Tis wheels and 42” Predator tires. This truck was also at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, last fall.
While Truck-O-Rama is a relatively new feature at the show, the rise in popularity for these vehicles is something that stands out to Motorama’s Mike Galipeau.
“There’s a bit of a crossover between the tuner market and the truck market,” said Galipeau. “You have lowriders, lifted trucks, off-road trucks, racing vehicles, Overland… I think trucks are a huge growth area, both highway trucks and your regular daily drivers.”
