WHITCHURCH-STOUFFVILLE, ON – It was another busy weekend on the car show circuit, beginning with a forecast-hampered event in Courtice, ON (Aug. 8, 2026) before heading the next day (Sunday, August 9) to Whitchurch-Stouffville for the 53rd Annual Antique & Classic Car Show, where the weather couldn’t have been better.
Early in the morning, show vehicles rolled onto the display fields at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre, filling the grounds of Vandorf Community Park alongside the museum’s historic buildings. Recognized as the longest-running family event in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, the award-winning show once again brought together an outstanding collection of antique, classic, and custom vehicles for a day that offered something for everyone.

With blue skies overhead, visitors enjoyed live music, food vendors, children’s activities, and the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits while taking in rows upon rows of vintage vehicles. The annual event typically attracts more than 400 vehicles and approximately 2,000 visitors, making it one of the region’s premier summertime automotive gatherings.
As always, some of the best moments came from conversations with owners who were eager to share the stories, history, and restoration journeys behind their prized rides. Those personal connections are what make events like this so memorable. Vehicle owners also had the opportunity to compete for People’s Choice and Drivers’ Choice honours, adding a little friendly competition to an already impressive showcase.
From enduring the threat of rain on Saturday to enjoying sunshine-filled skies on Sunday, it was a great weekend celebrating the passion, craftsmanship, and camaraderie that continue to make Ontario’s car show community so special.
